Addison's Newborn Session

On Thursday, I took Miss Addison's newborn pictures. What a precious little (9lb) baby. :) She was just the sweetest thing, and reminded me a lot of my daughter, Bailey when she was a newborn. Addison was bright eyed and bushy tailed for the session. She wanted nothing to do with "sleep." The pictures where her eyes are closed lasted all of about 5 minutes. :) Bless her heart. I have a lot of new newborn props and was really excited to get to use them, but unfortunately, the baby has to be sleeping to use them. I enjoyed every minute of our session. I've known Addison's mommy and her family since I was in kindergarten, so it was a pleasure to get to take her pictures!

Nolan's 18 Month Pictures

On Saturday, I got to meet Nolan for the first time. I went to school with his mommy and daddy and was so excited to meet this little guy! We met at Scales Lake and let him get warmed up to me by going to the petting zoo. He's in a really shy stage right now so it took a lot of songs & silliness from his mommy and grandma to get him to smile. I totally understand because my daughter did the exact same thing at that age. When he got used to the idea of me taking his picture, we had a great time!! He is such a cutie and has the most beautiful blue eyes!!! I just love fun shoots like this...just letting kids play and have fun!

Denise & Rick's Wedding

I had the opportunity to photograph Denise & Rick's wedding this past Friday afternoon at Scales Lake. It was a gorgeous day, a little windy, but still beautiful! They were fortunate enough to get married right on the waterfront...what a beautiful backdrop for the pictures!

My beautiful daughter Bailey, allowed me all of about 10 minutes to take a few pictures of her today. She's such a cute model for me, but she has the patience of a 2 year old.....oh wait...she is 2! :) She sees mom with the camera and she wants to run! I guess I've taken a few pictures these past 2 1/2 years. :)

Mitchell's Newborn Session

I got the opportunity to take Mitchell's newborn pictures today. This was my first newborn session, I had a lot of fun with it. I was shocked however, he remained awake the entire session! That made it a little difficult to try and do a few poses. He let me know about it promptly and the mission was aborted. :)

I am looking forward to photographing his milestone sessions and getting to watch him grow. He is such a cutie!!!
